Die Künstlerin Zoe Leonard und die Filmemacherin Catherine Gund blicken auf Körper, die im privaten Raum und auf der Straße über Paragrafen reglementiert sind: Zwei lesbische Protagonistinnen verbinden das scheinbar Private mit Bildern von ACT-UP-Demos und Gesetzestexten und brechen so die dualistischen Strukturen auf. Sie stellen lesbisch/feministische Positionen ins Zentrum und weisen sie – in der tödlichsten Phase der HIV/AIDS-Pandemie in den USA – als Bestandteil des AIDS-Aktivismus aus.

Catherine Gund
Catherine Gund is a producer, director, author and activist. She is also co-founder of the production company Aubin Pictures. Gund believes in the power of storytelling to bring about social change. Her film work focuses on strategic and lasting social change, social justice, art and culture, HIV/AIDS and reproductive justice as well as climate justice. Her films have been presented at festivals such as the Berlinale and Sundance and shown in theatres, museums and schools. In addition to her work as a filmmaker, she is also co-founder of the Third Wave Foundation, which supports young women and trans youth.
