A small monkey sets off for the land of dreams. Swinging from one green leaf to the next, it slides gently into sleep. But what happens next? In the world of dreams, things become darker, more colourful and wilder. Mysterious plants, creatures and shapes line the flight path through the night. Fortunately, its mother’s arms offer safety and protection. An artfully composed cinematic lullaby with an almost meditative soundtrack.
Sonja Rohleder
Sonja Rohleder graduated in animation from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in 2009. Her short films have been screened at numerous international festivals and have won several awards. In 2009, she founded the Talking Animals Animation Collective with a group of Babelsberg graduates and friends. Since then she has worked in animation for short and feature films, documentaries and installations.
