Atomic Garden
Ana Vaz
»In the late summer hours, Aoki Sadako tends to her flowering garden. Before nightfall, she returns to the temporary residency where she was evacuated to in Iwaki City, Fukushima.«
Life seems restored to a strange normality. But a spell of uncertainty casts a simmering doubt everywhere.
Acoustic-visual fireworks of flowers staged as a stroboscopic tale of transformation, survival, resilience and protest in the face of toxicity.
