The Highest Mirror on Earth / Touch the Red Nothing

This Super 8 production is actually two films in one, as we can see in the very first title card. Dagie and her friend Judith make a crazy discovery in their bathroom on Crete: they find the highest mirror on Earth! Following the trail of King Minos, who turned his wife Queen Minokafion into a ladybird because she had too little pubic hair, Dagie and Judith manage to put everything to rights again.

Dagie Brundert studied graphic art and experimental film design in Berlin, and in the late 1980s discovered a passion for Super 8 film. Since then, she has worked exclusively with a Nizo Super 8 camera and is entirely self-taught: she animates, absorbs and creates. Her work is shown internationally. In recent years, she has become a specialist in biologically developed Super 8 films and photos.
