Tunis, November 2019. A group of women is gathered at Saïda the hairdresser’s on the eve of the presidential election. The salon, where the women talk, laugh and argue openly, turns into more of a public square, holding up a mirror to the unrest within the country. In this female sanctuary, we gain an intimate insight into the country’s young democracy.

Y’a pas d’heure pour les femmes ist ihr vierter Film. Sie flirtet mit dem Spiel- und Dokumentarfilm und liebt es, dem Gewöhnlichen etwas Verschrobenes und dramatischen Situationen Komik einzuhauchen.
