In colourfully animated images, the film illustrates that friendship isn’t about appearances or backgrounds – it’s about deep connections, shared fun and trust.
Daniela Opp
Daniela Opp was born in Toronto in 1972 but grew up in Frankfurt am Main. She studied visual communication with a focus on animated film at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. Since 2004, she has worked as a motion designer. Her animated film Gelato – Seven Summers of Ice Cream Love (2018) was screened at over 100 international festivals and received multiple awards, including the Gryphon Award in Giffoni, Italy.
