How do you catch a carp? By staying quiet and being patient, or so a child believes. But bringing along a playful puppy turns out to be a big mistake. Together with a frog, fly, cow and duck, the little dog stirs up such a commotion that fishing becomes impossible. Brought to life with picture-book-like watercolour aesthetics, the outing becomes a lively nature adventure, ending in an unlikely friendship that connects creatures across land and water.

Arnaud Demuynck is a director, producer and screenwriter, internationally renowned for his work in animated short films. His first feature film, Yuku and the Flower of the Himalayas, was released in 2022.

Morgane Simon
Morgane Simon studied animation at the Haute École Albert Jacquard and the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre. Since 2020, she has worked at the animation studio L’Enclume. She draws inspiration for her work from music, cartoons and the human figure.
