Vedergällning, which translates as retaliation, is a filmic performance based on a scene from The Virgin Spring by Ingmar Bergman. In it, Hanna Ljungh steps into a traditionally male role and unleashes her pent-up anger: something must be destroyed. Her counterpart is initially unwavering but ultimately unable to hold his ground. Ljungh offers a new exploration of this interplay of strength and weakness.
