One year after fleeing Ukraine for Belgium, Emilia takes part in an adventure camp for the first time, where there’s camping, climbing and caving. Initially apprehensive about the camp’s challenges, she soon finds acceptance within a diverse group of peers, helping her confront her fears and grow beyond herself. Laura De Baudringhien
Laura De Baudringhien, director and documentary filmmaker, graduated from the RITCS School of Arts in Brussels in 2022 with the documentary From Moerbeke with Love. Prior to this, she completed a Master’s degree in social and cultural sciences at the University of Leuven. Her work is characterised by its inclusion of diverse perspectives, particularly concerning feminist discourses and stereotypical representations.
