Artiom Zavadovsky
Artist and mother Pia Antonia Klinkhammer shares her thoughts on art, self-expression and the struggles for recognition as an artist with art students. Her rebellious paintings – characterised by deliberate breaks with bourgeois conventions – remain largely hidden from public view. However, thanks to the students’ documentation of her work on film, set to music composed by her son, she was finally able to present her first solo exhibition.

Artiom Zavadovsky (*1987 in Bălți, Republik Moldau) arbeitet interdisziplinär mit Performance, dokumentarischem Theater und Film, Videokunst und Drag. Interessen/Themen der künstlerischen Praxis umfassen soziale, politische und ökonomische Realitäten von Marginalisierten, radikales Queering als Widerstand(sform) sowie persönliche Erinnerung als ein Instrument zur Aktivierung von kollektivem Bewusstsein.
