Linda Verweyen studierte Expressive Arts in Social Transformation mit Spezialisierung auf gesellschaftliche und individuelle Relevanz von Filmproduktion und -rezeption. Aktuell studiert sie Filmregie im Master an der FH Dortmund und legt ihren Schwerpunkt auf partizipative Filmproduktion, dokumentarisch-fiktionale Form und soziale Veränderungsprozesse durch Film. 2024 förderte die Film- und Medienstiftung NRW ihren partizipativen Spielfilm Halima – Eine Anleitung zum Starksein.
