Anna whiles away the last few days of summer together with her clique of friends… it’s all about crude language, aggressive rap, first boyfriends, swimming pools, parties and scooters. Whether in conversations with friends or her favourite songs, everything revolves around one subject. Anna feels pressured to have her first sexual experience. But something doesn’t feel quite right. It’s the summer that Anna realises she’s asexual.
Denise Riedmayr
Denise Riedmayr, born 1992, is taking a degree in film directing at HFF Munich. While studying communication science and psychology at LMU Munich (2011-2015), she worked in the editorial department of M94.5. She is now a video producer at PULS, the young content network of Bayerischer Rundfunk. Her first short film Aufarbeiten earned her the FilmFernsehFonds Bayern Subsidy Prize at the 23rd International Short Film Week Regensburg in 2018.
