Thirteen-year-old trans boy Lucho knows exactly who he is. When he spends a few days at the beach with his family, the rather distanced relationship between father and son is put to the test. They are suddenly forced to spend more time together. While Lucho is preoccupied with the changes that are taking place in his body, his father endeavours to maintain a connection to his child.

Martina Matzkin
Martina Matzkin lebt in Buenos Aires, Argentinien. Sie studierte an der Universidad de Buenos Aires Film und schloss einen Postgraduiertenkurs im Dokumentarfilm ab. 2018 wurde sie für die Talents Buenos Aires ausgewählt (organisiert von Berlinale Talents und der Universidad del Cine). Ihr dritter Kurzfilm El nombre del hijo wurde vom argentinischen Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales sowie dem Fondo Nacional de las Artes gefördert und feierte bei der 70. Berlinale Weltpremiere, wo er zweifach ausgezeichnet wurde.
