We are very pleased to present this year’s film selection in the programme for children and young people from March 29th to April 3rd, 2022 in Dortmund and Cologne.

More than ever, we would like to invite our young viewers to exciting encounters and lively discussions about film. There is a best-of of international titles from all genres and short film programmes for different age groups. The screenings are accompanied by a film mediator, sometimes the filmmakers are present for a subsequent discussion.

Two workshops are also offered. »Girls Go Movies – Stop-Trick-Workshop: Show who YOU ​​are!« is aimed at girls between the ages of 6 and 8 (registration by March 18). The workshop »Do You Speak Film?« invites young people from the age of 12 to get to know new facets of film and then to discuss them together in different languages. It is specially designed for international classes. Admission to both workshops is free.
