Die Uneinsichtigen – AIDS-Aktivismus in Frankfurt
The Unreasonables – Aids activism in Frankfurt
Lou Deinhart, Evi Rohde & Zoë Struif
The three directors bring together theatre productions from the time of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the 1980s/90s, news footage and recordings of demonstrations in their research work on AIDS activism. Lou Deinhart, Evi Rohde and Zoë Struif alternate between present-day encounters and media records from that time. By interviewing numerous witnesses, they construct a collage of diverse memories rather than tell a uniform narrative.
