Alison Peirse
Dr. Alison Peirse is a Professor of Film at the University of Leeds, UK. She is a world-renowned expert on horror film, and has been interviewed about horror in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the Guardian. She is the author/editor of After Dracula: the 1930s Horror Film, Korean Horror Cinema, and her third book Women Make Horror: Filmmaking, Feminism, Genre won multiple international book awards and was the subject of a screening series at MoMA in August 2022.
