Solar Walk

Two fantasy creatures enter a new universe, a still undiscovered solar system. In a wild chain of associations, they tumble through space and time, discovering, shaping and merging with their fascinatingly chaotic new world. Solar Walk is based on a film concert with a symphony orchestra, for which the soundscape of Réka Bucsis’ fantastical pictorial worlds was composed.

Réka Bucsi
Réka Bucsi was born in Filderstadt, Germany in 1988. Between 2008 and 2013, she studied animation at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) in Budapest, Hungary. In 2013, she attended Animation Sans Frontières (ASF) in Viborg, Denmark, where she also participated in the Open Workshop’s artist-in-residence programme. She has also been artist in residence at Q21 in Vienna, Austria.
