Ob Scene
Paloma Orlandini Castro
The film starts with a picture of Tracey Emin pressing coins and notes between her open legs against her vulva. The picture is taken from an art book and forms part of a memory of initial images of sex. Gender and sex are always based on imitation. What images exist, what words are available? The voice-over in the film asks: »How do I disorganise what I’ve learned?« A work shot via a visual archive, with safer-sex gloves and pornography in drawing form.
This film deals with the experience of violence.
