The lines are blurred, the clear distinction between truth and fiction melts away. We are called upon to point out the other sides of the coin – which never has only two. A close look behind the façade of a family who seem to have a strong bond, from the outside at least.

As a director, DOP and editor, Mirella Drosten is increasingly exploring the field of experimental film to express her political and feminist beliefs. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Management in 2016, she gained her first experience in the production of various TV shows in Cologne. Since 2018, she has been studying Film & Sound at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Alongside her studies she is building up her business as an independent film-maker.
