In keeping with the Islamic ideology that dogs are unclean, keeping pets is not allowed in Iran. Walking dogs in the parks of Tehran is forbidden, and since 2021 has been punishable by up to three months in prison. This film creates a parable for the brutality of the regime and the unbridled courage of those who resist. What is happening in Iran is heartless and cruel. And not just for the dogs.
