HDGDL

Sarah Claire Wray

HDGDL is an audiovisual love poem inspired by Monique Wittig’s Le corps lesbien and Friedrich Schiller’s Love and Intrigue. It explores the yearning for an unfulfilled lesbian love. The narrator’s voice invokes the love of her adored Luise while moving through a blossoming forest. The boundary between the narrator and the beloved becomes blurred. Obsession, projection and yearning are the driving motifs of the film.
