While the master of the house is away, housemaid Cunégonde gets a visit from her family. The great spring clean turns into an anarchic jamboree. The family sets to work cleaning the bourgeois apartment with great zeal and some rather rustic methods.

With Little Chrysia 

Until recently, the name Little Chrysia was completely unknown. Despite Cunégonde’s success in the acclaimed French Lux series of the same name, the actor’s real name is never mentioned, either in the film credits or in the numerous announcements, brochures and posters about the film. We can only try to reconstruct her life story and filmography if we recognise her on the screen. It turns out that Little Chrysia made at least 52 films in three countries between 1911 and 1915. After 1916, she disappeared from film screens altogether.
