Vezzo di perle perduto
A little girl is sent out begging by her violent and drunken parents. A rich couple climbs aboard a cab, in the process the lady loses her necklace, which the poor, unhappy child finds and insists on handing back. The lady—unlike the parents—is profoundly impressed by the little girl’s sense of honesty. She pays off the parents and takes the child in. A portrayal of the stark contrast between rich and poor.
