In AlieNation teenagers describe their reality, their problems and views of themselves. The director illustrates their well-reflected, shrewd statements in a way that couldn’t be more striking: bizarre aliens, sometimes three-eyed Cyclops, sometimes eight-legged triangles, portray a teenager existence that apparently doesn’t take place on this planet.
