From instruments to houses and trampolines: Ella the fairy and her friend, a spider, can create anything they can imagine from luminous spiders’ threads. That is, until the two of them disagree on their next project: Should it be a boat or a castle? A confusing tangle puts their friendship to the test. This fairy tale-like short film is about imagination, creative drive and teamwork.
An Vrombaut
An Vrombaut ist Animationsfilmerin, Buchautorin und Illustratorin. Sie wurde in Belgien geboren und studierte Animation an der Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Gent und an der RCA in London. Ihre Kurzfilme laufen weltweit auf renommierten Festivals, unter anderem in Chicago, Ottawa, Seoul, Berlin (hier Lobende Erwähnung der Kinderjury für The Tie) und Annecy (hier Auszeichnung für Little Wolf als bestes Erstlingswerk 1993). Vrombaut schreibt auch Drehbücher für Vorschulserien.
