Clara van Gool
Voices of Finance is a docudrama based on the eponymous banking blog by Joris Luyendijk in the British newspaper The Guardian which featured managers talking about their lives and work in the global finance world. The camera follows ten characters through London’s financial district, their voice-over monologues simultaneously portrayed through highly stylized dance choreographies. A competitive, glamorous, exhausting, precarious and high-stress world, where each day could be your last.

Clara van Gool
Clara von Gool ist Absolventin der niederländischen Film- und Fernsehakademie. Ihre Filme kreisen stets um Bewegung. Sie experimentiert mit narrativen Techniken für fiktionale und dokumentarische Arbeiten, Videoinstallationen und Werbung. Van Gool arbeitet mit verschiedenen Choreograf*innen, um Tanz auf die Leinwand zu übersetzen, darunter Jordi Cortés Molina, Lloyd Newson, Suzy Blok, Ria Marks und Medhi Walerski.
