Dace Rīdūze
A baby bat suddenly becomes active in the daytime. So much to see and experience on a spring day like this! When it gets injured, a family of mice nurse it back to health. Together, the two very different creatures explore the diversity of the world and learn a lot from each other. Sometimes the special thing about connections lies in recognising and experiencing differences. A short film that invites you to change your perspective.
Dace Rīdūze
Dace Rīdūze (1973, Latvia) attended a school of applied arts from 1988 to 1992 and then studied to become a teacher of school theatre and visual arts at Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy (RTTEMA). She gained her Master’s degree from the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Latvia in 2011. She has worked as an animator at the film studio Animācijas Brigāde since 1997 and has been directing films since 2000.
