A dusty attic turns into a world of wonder for a tiny bottle opener. Rummaging through old tin toys and discarded musical instruments, it gets into a tangle with a group of mice – until making music brings them together. This artfully crafted, atmospheric stop-motion film unfolds its dreamy, nostalgic spell through carefully composed images and the masterful interplay of light and shadow.

Carolyn Gair is a Canadian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. With over 30 years’ experience in the animation industry, she has worked for major studios including Disney, Pixar, Paramount and Warner Bros. She is an Emmy Award winner and was nominated for the Annie Award. Her characters are built from found objects and deliberately avoid stereotypical traits.
