This Particular Nowhere: Some of Wigner’s Friends
Rita Macedo
A head on a screen. Like a planet it moves in the emptiness of space. It speaks. Its words appear to refer to the audience space and to our contemplation of what is happening on the screen. This is how Rita Macedo’s cinematographic experiment about the observed and observation itself begins. It ponders the concepts of the here and now and the beginnings of everything that points back to ourselves, our universes and our being. What distinguishes us from the subject matter? When does consciousness exist? What produces reality?
