Skolen ved havet
The School by the Sea
Solveig Melkeraaen
During breaktime, Thorvin can hear the roar of the waves. #»The best thing about our school is that it’s so small,«# he says. This is why first graders like he and Tilde are in the same class as the older pupils. Everyone knows and helps each other. But to save money, the little school on the Norwegian coast is closed down. Thorvin and Tilde have to go to a different school. They’re anxious about the change. But soon they realise that new paths can also lead to new experiences. And to new friends.
