Letters from the Edge of the Forest

Squirrels, tigers, hedgehogs and elephants love letters, but sadly, they can’t write them. Apart from the owl, who demands a princely sum for his services. Rather unfairly. But then the mole invites the animals to his birthday party, and the owl starts to realise that camaraderie is worth more than all the wealth in the world. An anarchically designed film about self-empowerment and true friendship, with a slight critique of capitalism thrown in for good measure.

Jelena Oroz
Jelena Oroz (1987) studierte zunächst Kunstpädagogik an der Akademie der Künste in Osijek. Kurz darauf erwarb sie ihren Abschluss in Animated Film and New Media an der Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, wo sie seit 2019 als künstlerische Mitarbeiterin tätig ist. Oroz’ Filme wurden auf zahlreichen Festivals auf der ganzen Welt gezeigt und mit mehreren Preisen ausgezeichnet.
