The Capacity for Adequate Anger
A return to where the director grew up marks the point of departure for this examination of social class and political feelings. The project was produced for the artist’s first institutional solo exhibition. The film reflects as it wanders through diverse material: family photos, trading cards, children’s drawings, an anime series. Affective power structures, which are also anchored in media, are thus examined in the medium itself.
