Who is he trying to save from the »anus of death«? Eleni Gioti’s film is a poetic assault on the current spread of fascistoid ideas in Greece.

1982 in Thessaloniki geboren, studierte Gioti zunächst Medientheorie in Athen, bevor sie nach Paris ging, um Film zu studieren. Aktuell arbeitet sie als Drehbuchautorin und Regieassistentin für verschiedene Experimental- und Dokumentarfilme. The Aegean or the Anus of Death ist ihr Regiedebüt.
