She hears how the people around her object to her habits, lay claim to her body. The viewer ultimately does the same when watching her perform this intimate act.
Nazlı Dinçel
Born in Turkey, Dinçel moved to the USA at the age of seventeen. Familiar from an early age with different social patterns as a result of her exposure to a new culture and language, she is interested first and foremost in her work in language and its disappearance.
