In Saigon’s busy rush hour traffic, Mo helps Vicky when her motorbike breaks down, taking her along to a dance video shoot. In the middle of a separation, she finds herself in an uncertain, in-between space with no clear direction. It’s one of those chance encounters where the outcome is open.

Hồng Anh Nguyễn ist eine queere deutsch-vietnamesische Autorin und Regisseurin, die derzeit in Frankfurt am Main und Ho Chi Minh City lebt. Ihr Kurzfilm Saigon Kiss feierte seine Premiere beim Internationalen Kurzfilmfestival Clermont-Ferrand, wurde von der Queer-Jury mit einem Special Mention Award ausgezeichnet und lief auf vielen internationalen Festivals. Nguyễn ist Stipendiatin des STEP-Autorenstipendiums von Hessen Film & Media und Stipendiatin des Kyoto Filmmakers Lab 2022.
