Ridestar
Hannaleena Heiska
Ridestar begins with a picture that is reminiscent of a wild and empty landscape. The camera scans in detail over the body of a horse. To the soundtrack of Beniamino Gigli singing the aria »Ah! Non mi ridestar! « from Jules Massenet’s opera »Werther«, Hannaleena Heiska develops an almost painterly film about grand emotion and unrequited love.
