Lost in Helsinki
Lost in Helsinki
Sara Fazilat, Antonia Lange
A trip to New York ends abruptly in Helsinki, apparently due to faulty travel documents. During their unplanned, week-long stay in the city, the travellers, two filmmaker friends, create quasi-documentary scenes that capture the recurring, everyday experiences of BIPoC. Through their lens, they reflect on the experiences of discrimination and everyday racism, (lack of) privileges and their ongoing search for their own place in life.
