Neighbour Friedel Miko, who is almost a hundred years old, describes her everyday life and the blurred gaps between remembering and forgetting. Dreamlike animated sequences and a hypnotic soundtrack gently immerse us in the trials and tribulations of growing old.

Lenia Friedrich arbeitet mit Pixel, Papier, Stimme, Zeit und Stoff. Schwerpunkte ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit sind dokumentarische Animationsfilme über ältere Frauen und das Erforschen menschlicher Wahrnehmung und Erinnerungsbildung. Sie beendete 2024 ihr Diplomstudium Mediale Künste an der Kunsthochschule für Medien in Köln mit Auszeichnung, zuvor BA in Mediendesign in Münster und Lehre als Bauzeichnerin.
