Oscar Sanzatoux notices the young Suzanne in an omnibus, but she isn’t interested in him. He follows Suzanne to the post office where she works as a counter clerk, and makes unwanted advances towards her: He phones her up, writes letters to himself which he then wants to collect from her. But Suzanne and her colleagues know precisely how to deal with such a pushy guy.

Mit Suzanne Grandais
Suzanne Grandais (1893-1920) attended the Conservatoire in Paris and started on the stage at an early age. After touring South America, she was hired by Louis Feuillade in 1911 and went on to become France’s first female film star at Gaumont. In 1913, she established her own production company, Les films S.G. The First World War disrupted her film career for over a year. While shooting her last film, she died in a car accident at the age of 27.
