When Fien discovers that her 13-year-old sister Hannah is being threatened by a vicious crocodile that is making her increasingly thin and weak, she comes up with a plan: the crocodile must be defeated. A colourful, age-appropriate stop-motion depiction of the subject of eating disorders, which highlights not only the impact of the illness on the individual but also on their loved ones.
Lore Mechelaere
Lore Mechelaere, geboren 1993 in Belgien, absolvierte 2018 ihren Bachelor in Audiovisuellen Künsten an der Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Gent und 2022 ihren Bachelor in Regie an der Toneelacademie Maastricht. Parallel zu ihrer Tätigkeit als Regieassistentin am Internationaal Theater Amsterdam realisierte sie Hannah & de Krokodil als ihren Debutfilm. Der Film ist autobiografisch inspiriert.
