»Who am I allowed to be … « in a cis-heteronormative world? In a soap-like dynamic between parties, relationship stress and friendship, Robin, Sam and Luka create their own queer utopia. Staged scenes address access to public and scene locations, and negotiations that constantly need recreating – violent experiences stand alongside the euphoria of being part of a queer community.

Majana Ellie Urban is a director and editor. After training as a media designer for film and sound at WDR in Cologne, she studied film at the ifs International Film School Cologne, specialising in film and sound editing. While studying, she founded the student network queer@filmschule and curated the university’s internal film series, queer cinema night, for three years.
