Two secretaries from Berlin go to a Finnish sauna after work. The film explains the exact sequence: from the length of the sauna session to the correct form of cooling-down and massage. The al-fresco gym exercises afterwards are reminiscent of Leni Riefenstahl’s athletic body scenes.

Clarissa Patrix

Clarissa Patrix (or Clarissa Patrix-Dreyer), born 1908 in Berlin, was a documentary film director and screenwriter. From the mid-1930s onwards, she worked as an assistant and later as a film director for the Herbert Dreyer Production Company. At least five films are attributed to her during the period leading up to 1945. In the 1950s, she made four films.
