Cristina Perincioli
Swiss director and author Cristina Perincioli, born 1946 in Bern, moved to Berlin in 1968 to study at the German Film and Television Academy. In 1969, Perincioli was active in the anarchist journal Agit 883, and she was co-founder of both the lesbian movement and in 1973 the first Women’s Centre in Berlin. She taught film direction and computer animation in Berlin, Babelsberg and Stuttgart. From the late 1990s, Perincioli played a key role in stimulating public debate about domestic violence and set up various award-winning websites on prevention.
