After getting her heart crushed, a woman writes a letter to the man she loves. Empathy (A Digital Love Letter) is a short essay documentary, a heartbreaking comedy about a break- up, an attempt to concretize emotion and evoke empathy.
Qiyue Q Sun
Qiyue Q Sun is a Chinese author and film-maker who lives in the US and is studying film and media art at Temple University, Philadelphia. Her artistic work focuses on such subjects as body images, racism, post-colonialism and the emotional states that arise from her bicultural context. Empathy (A Digital Love Letter) is Qiyue Q Sun’s first film. Two other short film projects are currently in the post-production phase, and she is also developing a web series.
