High up in the maple tree, the little bird delights in its beautiful blossoms. Intrigued by a mysterious humming sound, he sets off on a journey to an enchanting world of flowers. Needless to say, the fiery-red fox is not far off and he tries to catch the little bird. But the unlucky bird then befriends the busy bees, and a rather unpleasant surprise awaits the troublemaker at the beehive…
Lena von Döhren
Lena von Döhren was born in Berlin. After a two-year trip around the world, she studied audiovisual communication at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She did her Master’s in animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Von Döhren now works as a director, animator and illustrator. Her most recent works are four episodes of The Little Bird, which all celebrated their premiere at the Berlinale.
