Short film programme from 12 years

An animated green hand with four fingers, holding a mobile phone displaying a picture of a heavily made-up bird.

Inner and outer struggles define the line-up of films for ages 12 and up. In Ostrich, a sparrow chases a social media idol – humour and vivid imagination meet a sharp critique of beauty ideals and compulsion to compare. In Teen Angst, nine young Ukrainian girls document their everyday lives since the Russian invasion. They speak of fear, separation, waiting, hope – but also of resilience and self-assertion.
