Bernice Lysania Ekoula Akouala

Bernice Lysania Ekoula Akouala (she/her), born in 1989 in Brazzaville, is a multidisciplinary artist, social pedagogue and community organiser based in Essen. She has been performing her spoken word texts under the name Lysania on various stages across the country for six years. Her multifaceted nature and work can be located in the interplay of poetry, activism, BIPoC* empowerment work and theatre.
