This picture-book-style animated film is a love letter to the country’s vibrant wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. Accompanied by a playful musical score, the film offers an insightful, detailed portrait of 50 native bird species, showcasing their diversity in appearance, behaviour and nest-building habits.

Izabella Anguiano-Jacobs ist eine mexikanisch-amerikanische Animatorin, Illustratorin und Regisseurin. Sie studierte Character Animation am California Institute of the Arts. In ihrer Arbeit verbindet sie ausdrucksstarkes Charakterdesign mit atmosphärischen Bildwelten und sensibler Farbgestaltung. Neben eigenen Kurzfilmen arbeitet sie als Animatorin, Background-Artist und Art Director an unabhängigen und kommerziellen Animationsprojekten.
