How do you catch a carp? By staying quiet and being patient, or so a child believes. But bringing along a playful puppy turns out to be a big mistake. Together with a frog, fly, cow and duck, the little dog stirs up such a commotion that fishing becomes impossible. Brought to life with picture-book-like watercolour aesthetics, the outing becomes a lively nature adventure, ending in an unlikely friendship that connects creatures across land and water.

Morgane Simon studierte Animation an der Haute École Albert Jacquard und der École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre. Seit 2020 arbeitet sie im Animationsstudio L’Enclume. In ihren Arbeiten lässt sie sich inspirieren durch Musik, Cartoons und die menschliche Figur.

Arnaud Demuynck ist Regisseur, Produzent und Drehbuchautor, international bekannt für seine Arbeiten im Bereich animierter Kurzfilme. Sein erster Langfilm Yuku et la fleur de l’Himalaya erschien 2022.
