Focus: Short Film Programme I
Exercises for Being Close to You
Plants, humans and other animals only have a chance of surviving if resources are distributed equally between all beings. Highlighting and practising this equality in artistic attitudes is inspiring film-makers to adopt new approaches in their art, and we have brought together some exciting examples in this programme. How can we respectfully approach ›otherness‹ cinematically? Assuming an alternative point of view could mean upsetting and readjusting the hegemonic perspective of the camera.
